Android Item placement guide not lined up

I wanted to decorate my house now that I fully upgraded it, so I started with wallpaper and floors but when I grabbed some wallpapers the placement guide was all messed up. I can only place items where the guide says so most rooms I can't change, the only areas where I can are where the guide lines up with the actual room.

Purple: Messed up guide
Green: Working guide
Red: Missing guide
Yellow: More messed up guides

Flooring works fine.
I'm on Android, unmodid, I did turn on co-op
