Item codes not working

the item codes are not working, it just gives me a notif at the bottom left of the game saying "name unavailable"

Yes this exploit has been patched now I believe.

It just worked yesterday night?!
just put these [ ] before and after the item code. there are not item codes for every number. Last time I tried you can only have one animal named with item codes and you must sell that one before doing it again. if this doesn't work then it, sadly, is very likely patched.

This has been patched on console and mobile, but still works on PC.
