Creator Response Item cards question/ Rules clarification

Are item cards allowed to be played at any time? And is there a limit to how many items can be played at once? Earlier as I was playing I pulled 1 Mega Bomb from a roll on my first action at the mine. I was ready to use the Bomb immediately, but was unsure if had to use my second action to roll in the mine, then use the bomb after, or if I could use it on the first try as well, and possibly leave the mine after.

You can use the Cherry Bomb, Bomb and Mega Bomb at any time during your turn as long as your pawn is currently at the Mine space on the board. So this can be before your first action, between your first and second action, or even after your last action.
