It must have been twins day.

Quiet summer afternoon, neutral luck day, I shared an ice cream with Elliot outside his house, and on a whim decided to fish from the wooden plank leading to the tidepools. In short order I caught (on a single hook) a pair of pufferfish, 3 pairs of tuna, a pair of red snappers, and a pair of super cucumbers. I still kept fishing, but after that burst of pairs, everything returned to normal. Rather unusual.

Romantic summer day, perfect for hanging with loved ones, and you kept catching pairs? Well hey I guess it's good that no fish families got separated, makes sense that their partners would be right there after they got caught, right? Honestly it's surprising that doesn't happen more often when you think about it

So . . . thinking that the plank might be a good place to fish at, I went back the next day, and caught 6 pieces of green algae on 6 tries. Life returns to normal.
