Issue Issue with Smapi not loading mods despite having downloaded latest version

So I downloaded the latest Smapi and used https://smapi.io/mods to check which mods are updated for 1.6, however when I launched the game, I have a whole bunch of mods that are not loaded due to 'no longer being compatible'. Does anyone have a fix for this?
