Solved Issue with More Animals mod

I'm not sure if this is the place to post this but I was wondering if anyone can help me out with an issue with this mod. I used to use More Animals mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/2274), but ended up deleting it cause the clipping with the animals was annoying me. However, the cat I adopted from that mod still shows up even after removing the mod completely from my mods folder?

Re-install the More Animals mod. Then start a game with your saved farm. Go to your SMAPI console and type abandon_all_pets
Press Enter, then save your game and exit. Now uninstall the mod and load up your save game again.

See if that fixes your issue and let us know please.
