Everytime I install mods, after a while assets in mods' files will straight up disapppear. Sometimes it'll just be the manifest.json, causing the mod not to work, or it will be the entire mod. What makes it even weirder is they'll just be random zip files for mods appearing on my desktop. This is really frustrating because then I have to reinstall everything just for it to do it again
