Switch Island Trader Does Not Have Golden Coconuts

When I visit the Island Trader to trade regular coconuts for golden coconuts, the Island Trader does not have any available. I have cracked open at least one golden coconut at the Blacksmith shop (I have actually opened two), so they should be available. Yet, they are not an option in his fixed stock at all. This save is on the Nintendo Switch (English, US), single-player, on console. My version number is v1.6.9 build 37. This is a really frustrating bug as golden coconuts are hard to aquire otherwise.

I’ve had the same problem, I’ve opened at least 5 golden coconuts and still can’t trade for them with the island trader, I’m on switch as well
