Question Is it possible to add custom NPCs to the Billboard quests?

Hi there! I'm in the process of making a new mod for Stardew Valley. I've created a small village and plan to populate it with custom NPCs. I'd love to have a separate billboard for quests for NPCs from that town only, but I'll happily settle for adding my custom NPCs to the existing billboard quests. Trouble is I'm not sure if either of those are even possible. Does anyone have experience modding the billboard quests that could help me out?

I haven't been doing those but the Billboard Quest are in the file Data/SpecialOrders and the text needed is in Strings/SpecialOrderStrings (xnb, unpacked .json). Unpack those and look. Should be possible and not even difficult (if you have created a location and people in it)

Thanks for the reply! I think special orders work differently than the regular quest board, but I hadn't considered that! Maybe making custom special orders would be easier. I'll definitely give that a look if I can't figure out the item delivery quests.
