I was playing last night and my game crashed. It might've been related to one of the mods to let your children grow up, since once my kid aged up, the game seemed to not like it and took time to load the day. When I booted up again this morning, it takes a minute to load into the game and when the game starts to fade in, you can see the scythe like normal, but once things fully load and get control, it turns into the sword.
It seems like I still have 4/5 of the cave stuff unlocked, and it doesn't look like I can reacquire the upgrade. I shut off the kid aging mod, but the result is the same.
Help would be appreciated!
