1.6 Update iOS: How to go back to a old save?

Hi all!

I’m currently in year 2 day 2 in fall, and I’m supposed to marry Harvey, but I didn’t know I had to wear my wedding dress the day before.
The game already saved to day 2, but I wanna redo day 1.

How do I undo a day on my iPad?
I’ve already tried to delete my new files, but the old file: “Valentine_391286868_old” (Valentine is my farm name), is the exact same as my ‘new’ file: “Valentine_391286868”. So even if I removed the “_old” it would still be the same. Is there any way I can acces old file names, and rename the old file?

Gotta delete the new day, then rename the _old to remove that from the end so it ends up being the same name as the new one used to be. I do recommend backing up your saves first.

Yeah! I’ve tried that multiple times, but every time I would load up my game it would automatically make a new save again, and use that one if I wanted to play. I tried quickly renaming the save too, or deleting it, but then the game would crash.

I decided to just get over it, and wear my ugly farm clothes for my wedding :’)

Next time, on iPhone there’s a button in the options tab to let you get back to the last save.

Yep, just "swap to previous save", does all that giant octopodes explanation does except integrated in game and also allows swapping back to the current save day (if you press it while on the previous day - as your 'previous save' was now the save in the future)
