Mac "Invite Friend..." button does not work

When trying to play co-op the "Invite Friend..." button (under Options) does not respond. I have to get the Invite Code and the send that code to them to let them connect to the game.

Specs:
MacOS Sonoma 14.5 (23F79)
Stardew Valley version 1.6.14
