Windows Input lag on steamdeck

I’m playing on a steam deck with windows 10 os. I have noticeable input delay. For instance when I push my left joystick, there is a second or two delay before my character moves. All drivers are updated, as is my windows os and my game. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, tried tweaking my input settings and have removed all my mods but nothing has helped. There’s no input lag on other games I’m playing on it either.

Edit to add:
The problem disappears in the 1.6.8 legacy version, so seems like a bug in the latest update caused it.

My wife and I are both having this issue as well.

We both play on our Steam Decks. Windows 11. Tried everything in Steams controller settings to no avail.

Xbox controller seems to work, and mouse and keyboard does. Just not the Deck.

Even without using Steam Deck Tools.

Not sure what's going on.
