So I was messing about on my friend's "world" (idk what the proper name is). Grabbed a prize ticket from the Special Orders board, and I got disconnected (i've got kinda bad wifi but thats not the issue here). Reloaded in, the prize ticket was still there, but I had a prize ticket on me. So I started testing. Disconnecting seemed to reset the prize ticket even though I had it in my inventory. So I tested with the Prize Machine. It reset too, so I could get as much of a given reward that I wanted. I asked my friend to try disconnecting and rejoining, but it didn't reset for him. I could give my duped prize tickets to him, and he could use them. His machine didn't reset on leave and rejoin though. It really was just... confusing. Sorry I've got no videos or anything, my friend's been kinda busy recently and I didn't think about it at the time.
