There are so many usernames with unicode symbols in them. Unicode is hard to render on some things and thats not nice. I'd like someone to alert this to the admins of the Star Dew Valley Wiki because they basically own it.

Unicode doesnt render on your pc because your system doesnt support that character. It just replaces it with another one, usually the character. The largest size that I know that a unicode character can hold up on your pc is only 4 bytes, which in perspective is not that much.

However, on old apple devices that havent probally been updated or something, there are some characters that will crash the device. The only evidence I could find of this was back in 2018, and I have some evidence that bugs like this has been fixed (and its has been quite a while since then, so others are probally is fixed on newer platforms too.)

"A similar Unicode bug was noticed in August 2013 when iOS 6 and OS X 10.8 was released. Apple’s engineers patched that Unicode bug through the release of iOS 7 and OS X 10.9. Hopefully this Unicode bug will be fixed when iOS 8.4 arrives later this year. Currently iOS 8.4 is in beta and is being tested by developers. "
