Idea to save money

As I’ve been traveling into the mines and to Ginger island, I’ve realized that I have a lot of money (over 100,000 G) and if I die, I’ll loose quite a large chunk of that change. And I’ve had this for awhile. What if the valley had some sort of safe or a bank that was set up? At the bank, you could save money and set it aside as well as possibly get small loans in order to help progress (loans more for early game than late game). Maybe too the bank could only be open for a short time each week since the banker would have to travel in from the city, but there could be an ATM there so that you could withdraw money from your account. And on the farm computer, you could also do online banking and check your accounts as well. Just a thought as I was playing today. Love the game though and thank you so much for releasing it on Mobile!

What if there was an option where you could send money to your mom back home? (im referring to the game)

thats true. Would still be nice so you don’t loose quite as much money though

that’s a good idea as well!
The other idea I had later on was if there was a way to get to the city, it could be there or maybe even a “traveling” banker that could set up in the saloon or maybe even the community center. Kind of like Loomis or some other money collection company that goes to the different stores. They could come once a week or something

I mean pretty much everything in stardew can be reinvested for a relatively quick profit. Buy some seeds with that 100k and plant them for 200k. Buy resources for making stuff such as kegs. It’s surprising how little you have to buy stuff in the game, hold off some purchases and buy things in bulk. Only sell what you need to buy that stuff too to make sure you have a tight pocket and loads of money off hand.

Also you don’t lose more than 10% of funds or 1000g/2500g, whichever is less when passing out and 5000g when dying but the latter is semi luck dependant too.
