I was wondering if I could have a normal unmodded farm and also a Stardew Valley Expanded farm also. I don't want to have my original farm to have the Stardew valley expanded so if there is a way I would really like to know.

This is definitely possible, one option if you're playing on Windows is to skip the step during SMAPI setup where you launch the Steam game through SMAPI. This would allow you to launch the game through SMAPI separately, while launching the unmodded version of the game through Steam.
