I think hunting w/trophies should be added

I think it'd be super fun because it fits right in line with the rest of the game and you can even do a community center type collection system. You can hunt with bow for one area, rifle for another, shotgun, etc.

You can also make trophies out of the animals at a taxidermist to decorate your home...

There are already plenty of trophies, such as chests in the mines or rewards at the Adventurer's Guild.

Personally I miss possibilities to show my rewards:
- legendary fishes in the Community Center aquarium, see suggestion here
- exhibition space like in the Museum but for my weapons or pictures, see here

The only thing I miss in terms of hunting would be a more permanent fishing competition, e.g. with Willy or Demetrius.
There could be a board showing who has already caught which size and number of which fish.

With it would be dishes made from hunts. I would wager that no death animations will ever be added to the animals in the game. It all would definitely make the game more in-depth.

Agree with all the above. I personally hunt because it connects me with nature. I never take bad shots, young animals, or "enjoy" the feeling of killing. I know it as a means of sustenance... I'm always so thankful for taking the animal and a "trophy" to me is a means of remembrance of the animal and not a point of pride. I honor and am so grateful for every animal.

I think Eric could add this in such a tasteful and brilliant way. It could also totally be optional as so many things in this game.
