I hope the hot springs improve.

The current hot springs will not be used once the farm is developed.
The reason is that as time passes, the means for recovery increase.
It's so far from the farm that it's hard to get to.
It would be nice if they could move it to a closer location or give it an additional buff.
(For example, the road above the farm)

Yeah, it's probably the weakest part of the whole map. It's already redundant by the time it opens up in the first summer IMO. Regardless of the theme of whatever I'm doing on any particular farm, I literally never have reason to use it.

Even if you're only playing casually, you can collect dozens of spring onions and also dozens of salmonberries throughout Spring, for a solid supply of portable, instant energy that will last well into Summer. Neither of them are worth selling, as their value is so close to zero, and eating them wherever you happen to be avoids the huge combined time loss of walking to the railroad and then standing in the water while your energy bar fills up.

By the time you run out of both, you will then be able to use your mushrooms from the farm cave, or blueberries from summer crops, or fish caught while fishing, or if you're making good money by then, you can just flat out buy salads from Gus.

Maybe if it had its own minecart stop, and if you didn't have to walk so slowly through the changing room, and if it refilled your energy twice as quickly, it might just be viable...

It can be really useful in early game, which is what I've always assumed it was intended for. You can drain your energy on your farm in the morning, refil in the spa, and then hit the mines in the evening so you don't use all your food up right away. It's close enough to the mines (and the railroad, for wood gathering) to be useful then and far away enough from everything else not to be in the way once you've built up your farmer's energy bar.

I've never checked, so it might already do this, but the only thing I think could be added would be for it to remove exhaustion.

There's certainly room for improvement regarding the benefits of the hot spring. As mentioned above, it really can help in the early game, if you can make time to justify the visit.
I'm surprised there wasn't a minecart fast travel to the hot springs🤔.
It would've been nice if there was an added benefit of stamina reduction bonus to your actions, too.
This also reminds me of a mod I found on nexus, where you could add a bathtub in your home that acts identically to the hot springs. If you're on pc you can look that mod up.

As one more day said it’s redundant as soon as you get it. It isn’t close enough to the mines to justify, it’s way slower than the instant health and energy from eating, and it’s unlocked too late regardless if it was.

Honestly imo it should become more of a community hub like the cc, we see a load of lockers and people spending them there but never the people themselves (outside of a cutscene), it would be nice if they all went up once in a while or if us was sporadic like the ginger island resort. We could even offer up to fix it a little and maybe get access to the top level only visible from outside?

I discovered that if I ran out of health/stamina in the mines, I could go to the spa, then get out a fishing rod and fish in the lake before going home. I ran very low on food in this save file (I am out of salmonberries and blackberry season isn't until next week), so this actually worked out quite well. Also, it is a free way to heal up before returning to my farm full of bats and slimes waiting to attack.

I guess some people use it to get the infinite energy glitch, but personally, I never use it.
