Solved I Got the “danger in the deep” achievement instead of “a distant shore” [PlayStation]

The trophies are swapped, completing 'danger in the deep' will give you the 'distant shores' achievement. I'm playing on a ps4 save

Once you've reached ginger Island and collected enough golden walnuts to enter the Walnut Room, you'll be able to access more quests (2 to choose from each week). Accept the 'danger in the deep' when it appears. It will change the regular mimes to a difficult version and completing it gets you the 'danger in the deep achievement'. However, with the current bug, it will instead grant you the 'distant shores' achievement.
If you've already completed the quest, you do not have to redo it. Instead, go to floor 120 and set the shrine to the dangerous mines if not already activated. Return the next day and you should get it. This is how I got mine to work. Hope it helps :)

Bumping for awareness! This needs to be fixed. "Just do the other thing" isn't a viable solution. A good workaround in the meantime, sure, but we need an actual patch before long

The achievement swap should already be fixed in the latest version.
The upcoming Stardew Valley 1.6.16 also rewrites the achievement/trophy code to work much more reliably (especially on PS/Xbox). In particular:

- Every achievement will have a way to re-trigger it.
- Re-triggering an achievement will now re-send the trophy ID, up to once per day. That will also work for any previous achievement/trophy which failed to unlock (e.g. due to the swap issue), so you won't need to start a new save to unlock the trophy.
