Question I downloaded a CN Mod and had to fix dialogues, now the characters won't appear.

Hi everyone, new to the game and new here. I had opened it without changing anything and it worked, now SMAPI ignored all their locations. I only translated the dialogue and stuff but now they both disappeared. I only had to change the dialogues because the dialogues were just boxes.

It's a Punishing Gray Raven MOD I got in Bilibi 😭

I'm not seeing the event.json but I will admit that events are one of my biggest issues of my own right now.
Just to verify are you running both the original mod and the text replaced mod at the same time? If there schedules spawn location and everything is the same then 1 could be blocking the other or they could nullify each other. I am also new to this but willing to share what I am learning.

I'm only running the changed mod, but it seems it's not doing much.

Look at that: "After parsing a value an unexpected character was encountered: " Path 'Fair_Judgeg_PlayerWon', line 247, position 2.

Most probably there is a typo in the file a bit before that. An extra or missing quote, a comma on the wrong side etc.
There may be more of that kind. Did you say that you replaced text inside .json files? It is very easy to mess with those. On pitfall is having apostrophes or quotes in a text block. The parser trips on the unpaired one...

I'm making mods that include text. The last round is usually proofreading, starting the game, getting a wall of red, finding the culprit typo (and perhaps another by chance), rinse and repeat...

Would you mind sharing the .json files that are causing you trouble? It seems you are having problems with both dialogue.json and event.json. Did the mod work before trying to translate it? It's usually due to typos while writing the text. Happens to me all the time lol
