Issue I can't go back Stardew Valley Expended to Stardew Valley Vanilla

Hello, after playing SV Vanilla for a long time I wanted to test SVE features but when I want to go back to SV Vanilla I get an error on loading screen. can you please solve this problem?

I think that going from sve to normal will break that save
You should be able to keep going with sve enabled though

Sorry, I have no experience with modding SDV, that's my biggest blind spot. Someone posted a similar request on reddit a few years ago and got a single response:

They suggested reinstalling SMAPI as it has some error correction that could help the non-working save file.

I'll see if I can dig up something more.

I’ve never used mods either, but it is my understanding that playing a file in SVE adds so much data that it can’t be reused as a vanilla file. The changes to the save files don’t get removed when you uninstall the mods.
