So, I opened steam and logged in, to my only steam account to play Stardew after around a month of not playing, however when I went to open it, steam said that I need to install the game, which I never uninstalled. I have a lot of mods and save files on Stardew and I wanted to know if I reinstalled it, would it have saved all the mods I downloaded previously? Because if I were to re-mod the game it would take me at least 2-4 hours. And I dont mind losing the save files, but I dont want to have to re add all of the mods. Does anyone know if they save?? Because I cant find the game files anywhere in my steam files or in my files at all.

If you can't find the game, and Steam can't either; you're out of luck.
As the default mod location is inside the game folder. And, since mods are external to Steam; you'll have to redownload them.

Did you install SDV on a secondary drive that Steam doesn't currently see, or something?

The saves should be okay.
