Stardew Valley's UI and HUD are beautifully designed, but it plays terribly on mobile devices, especially iPhones, due to the large rounded corners of the screen and the presence of floating islands or notches. Stardew Valley doesn't seem to be optimized for mobile devices! At least from a player's perspective. After creating a new save on a mobile device, the date bar is obscured by rounded corners, and the inventory is also obscured by floating islands. Before starting the game, you have to adjust some settings, such as menu edge fill and toolbar fill. If the vertical toolbar is turned off, you can't even see the floors in the top left corner while mining. Because of the floating islands, you can't click to move or switch maps. Turning on the vertical toolbar and filling it to the position of the floating islands makes the toolbar look very unsightly and obstructs the view. The cancel button in the top right corner is also obscured. During holidays, the settings button in the top right corner is also obscured!
