How to change Fairy Box's appearance

How can I change the appearance of a Fairy Box through the save file? If I make changes using a MOD, it will return to its original state after deleting the MOD. Is there any way to make permanent changes?

Yeah without a mod or a huge technical to do you’re stuck. Now like previous poster mentioned you have the know how you can edit the file directly. I don’t trust myself with a ten foot pole to do that but you might be tech savvy. Good luck hope it works! I like all the fairies except the void fairy as their dark wings make it hard to see darker monsters and especially bats, insects and serpents. Otherwise it’s cool too.

It's based on player ID so I believe you can change it simply by editing your player ID within the file, but it may be more nuanced than a single change (might be present in multiple areas), so make some backups before you do anything
