1.6 Update How does mixed-quality input to the Mill affect the output?

If I put mixed quality items in the Mill, how does that affect the outcome?

Quality does not affect the output of the mill (or most other equipment).

To my knowledge the only machines where starting quality does matter are single item processing ones - the fish smoker, the loom, and the cask. Not sure if I’m missing any there.

edit: I was missing (at least) one. The mayonnaise machine when specifically processing ostrich eggs.
