Hot pepper

Is there anyway to get hot pepper out of season? I legit sold everything when I had a quest that needed it at the last minute ToT

It may occur in the Traveling Cart. But there is no guaranteed source out of season (before you have Greenhouse or GI).

(If it is the George quest, it stays there until you get the pepper, although it's sad thinking he's not getting relief for his knee)

If you’re referring to the seeds themselves, I’m not sure. Maybe check the traveling cart or some long forgotten chest you might have hidden away? If you have the seeds and nowhere to grow them, a greenhouse or a flowerpot from Evelyn should do the trick. I’m pretty sure.

Peppers can grow from mixed seeds, you could try in the greenhouse or a pot indoors, but you probably get wheat! Other than the traveling cart where you might get a pepper or the seeds, the night market would have the seeds on the 2nd night.

Well, it doesn't say in which season you are, but apart from the already named options mixed seeds and traveling cart, you can definitely buy them Winter 16 at the Night Market (Magic Shop Boat sells Spring crops 15, Summer Crops 16 and Fall Crops 17 of Winter).
