Hops & Wheat Issue

Has anyone ever encountered this issue?

Hops and wheat make beer. Hops is not making pale ale like the wiki says. I'm thinking it's a glitch with my game?

Hmm, that's odd.

Are you putting Hops in a Keg (and not a Preserves Jar)? Are you attempting to cook it in the kitchen? What is it giving you instead? Is Wheat still giving you Beer? Could you provide a screenshot?

Have you ever run any mods on this farm?

I'm putting Hops in a Keg outside. No mods. I am playing on console though. It seems I can only craft beer with hops and wheat.
