iOS Holidays not working properly, pls help 🥲

Hi, I’m on year 3 of my lil farm and every year when it comes down to the spirit eves and sometimes other holidays on the game, mine always decides to freeze or not let me leave to my property. Which causes me to lose ALL my progress. After awhile I’m forced to close out the game and nothing ends up saving. Any help or tips ? Just want it to stop. I hate repeating the day or simply missing out on the things I purchase/earn. Thank you.
