Hey, I have reached to 100 floor of Skull Cavern, what should I do next?

I have consumed more than 50 jades to craft ladders.
(They were generated by Crystalariums.)
It is a tedious process. I don't want to do that again.
Shall I keep exploring skull cavern next time? 'Cause I have collected around 150 iridium ores. I suppose that is enough for me.
Anything new in skull cavern?

Build more crystalaria to get more jade. Because skull cavern past level 100 is the most reliable source of prismatic shards, and if you rebuilt the community center, its treasure rooms are the most likely (though chances are small) shot at getting autopetters.

Depends what you want to do! Skull canvern has a lot of nice loot, and the monsters unique to it are a part of the monster eradication goals at the adventurers guild, so there are benefits to spending more time in skull canvern. That said, if you didn't really enjoy it or are tired of that, it might be time to focus on something else for a while, like the fishing goals or ginger island or the special requests board. It's a game - if it isn't fun then don't do it.

Thanks for the advice.
That means I have to repeat the process to get to 100th floor again and again.
That sounds incredibly boring.
I hope there will be a machine which takes me to the 100th floor directly in the furture if possible.

Autopetter is an important facet for me to keep exploring Skull Cavern. But the chance is so small like you said.
The biggest reason is that I can hardly predict when I can get my first autopetter. That makes me daunted and frustrated.
That is why I am struggling if I should give up exploring skull carven as I have finished Qi's task of 100th floor of skull carven.

Thank you for getting back to me!
I haven't fininshed any goal of the monster eradication at the adventurers guild.
That should be a big reason for me to keep trying.

I have unlocked the rusty ship to Ginger Island.
I am trying my best to estimate pros and cons for either Ginger Island or Skull Carven.
And there is no need to be anxious. As you said, it is a game for fun rather than a job for living.

Qi will eventually give you two more reasons, but never mind Qi, the loot is reason enough.

There's no direct machine like the Elevator in the Mines but there are ways to make descending into Skull Cavern fun... -ish. See below.

Since you want an Autopetter (because they're great!), I suggest you make Skull Cavern as least annoying as possible. For me Skull Cavern is focused on fun and
treasure, which is a good match for getting an Autopetter!

Luck is very important
Daily Luck at maximum: "The spirits are very happy today!"
• 1 Lucky Ring, Forged into another or on its own
Lucky Lunch, I bring 1 and eat it just before entering. When it wears off late in the day, I eat one of the inevitable Spicy Eels the Serpents drop.

Other Buffs are very helpful
Espresso or Coffee for Speed, 3 Espressos is better as Coffee (~10) wears off fast so it demands more attention which I simply do not have
Slime Charmer Ring, this more of a personal opinion. I mentioned fun above and this ring is key for my fun as I can ignore Slimes entirely to focus on actually dangerous monsters. This again is managing my attention span and minimizing distractions.
Mining Mastery. If you've opened the Mastery Cave, consider choosing Mining as your first power as 2 of the random Daily Buff options are Immunity to Bombs (this is the BEST!) and Greater chance for Ladders and Shafts (clearly very useful).

More stuffs:
• Good Weapon: Galaxy Sword for now, Infinity Blade much later
• Good Boots: Space Boots now, Cinderclown Shoes or Mermaid Boots much later
• Good healing Food, I use :goldstar:Cheese as it's very easy to make (1 happy cow + 3.3 hrs in a Cheese Press gets you 101 Health!). Take 25-50, eat at half Health or even higher. Cheese is cheap, your Health is more important!
Bombs for clearing out large veins of Ores and Gem Nodes, I take at least 30 early on and closer to 100 when I get lots.
Staircases for quickly descending to ~Level 100 before Bombing. I take at least 100 for starters though in later game I take about 250.
Iridium Pickaxe. Gold Pick is probably good enough but for those few times you need to break crowding rocks immediately, you want FAST
• I leave everything else at home except maybe my Return Sceptre, but really: falling asleep in SC incurs minimal penalties, just stay 'til 2am to maximize your fun! You're there for LOOT and that means starting with empty pockets.

OK this is a big list but why?

Most important is Luck as that gets you MANY Treasure Rooms, in addition to the guaranteed ones on Level 100, 200, 300 and beyond. I usually get at least 10 on each run to about Level 150. Treasure Rooms are the point of this whole thing. You can get cool stuff like Autopetters, Animal Crackers, Prizzy Shards, Trinkets, Saplings, and Seeds. Yes, SEEDS!

On the way to Level ~100 I just Staircase down, stopping for the Treasure Rooms. Past about Level 60 you may see increasing veins of shiny Ores or Gem Nodes, I Bomb them if I feel like it and there aren't too many monsters around. I ALWAYS skip levels with many Flying Serpents, I don't care what Ores/Gems are there. They're no fun and I'm there for fun. ...and treasure but fun first! Fun fact: treasure is a subcategory of fun. Around Level 100 I start inspecting the levels more closely and if it feels safe enough, I'll Bomb the Ore/Gem Nodes and collect the shinies.

Repeat until 2am!

WOW this answer is incredibly fabulous!
I read that over 3 times carefully.

Lucky Ring - Unfortunately I have sold it out after my reaching to 100th floor. ToT
Slime Charmer Ring - I haven't had my first Slime Charmer Ring
Galaxy Sword - I have gotten one when I got my first Premastic Shard
Healing Food - I sold out all my cheeses for money. I am going to purchase some more cows.
Return Sceptre - No worries, I have prepared 100 Warp Totem to go home instantly. Stop exploring at 1:30 AM will be better in case of any unpredictable risks.
Staircases - I am going to generate more Jades by Crystalarium to trade more staircases.

In terms of LOOT, I have something to weigh in on this topic.
Autopetters - This is definitely what I want most! I am not a greedy guy. If I have two autopetters, I will be over the moon.
Animal Crackers - I have never seen that before, that must be cute according to the name!
Prizzy Shards - The more the better! I can scatter them on my floor as ornament. They are the most beautiful quartz I have ever seen. I have never seen that in real life.
Trinkets - I am still wearing the original outfit when I start the game. Hmmm....any intreseting trinkets?
Saplings and Seeds - Although I can buy any saplings or seeds in Pierre's store, but that is cool. It can save my money though.

The most frustrating thing is oftentimes I am too greedy to being stagnant by radiant ores/gems.
It takes too much time and it does thwart my plan reaching to deeper level.
I am like a ****** when I am lured by iridium ores!!!!!
I don't know what is the optimal timing to give up what I see and move onto next level. That is really struggling and torn. Perhaps I should close my eyes until I get to 100th level?

I will refer to your advice and set up a new strategic plan when I start my 2nd round exploring.

This is exactly how I used to play Skull Cavern, I really had a hard time passing up anything on the upper levels, but I was able to focus on more of what I really wanted out of Skull Cavern after someone else put together a similar kind of post as mine above.

Mostly I want Fun and Treasure!

Fun
Bombing Gem and Ore nodes and gathering those up
Opening Treasure Chests in the Treasure Rooms

Treasure
All the Gems!
Whatever's in the Treasure Chests (OK sometimes I get Parsnip Seeds. That seems less like Treasure)

All the good stuff gets more likely the lower you go, so if you spend all your time in the early levels picking up everything, you miss the BIG fun. I want the BIG fun. So I Staircase down through the Levels until I see interesting things show up more and more. Still skip down until you see a really big concentration and I generally see this around Level 60. But some people doesn't even look until Level 150 or more!

Anyway I start to consider every Level around 100 but usually skip at about 4 out of every 5. It's gotta be reasonably safe (still gotta kill some monsters though) and then I only Bomb the good concentrations. One Bomb in the good area, maybe 2 if it's big, very rarely is a floor well covered enough for 3. Grab the stuff and take an uncovered Shaft or Stairs and go down. Drop a Staircase if none are uncovered.

You're not grabbing everything on a Level or clearing it out, you're just maximizing the big gem/ore concentrations with a Bomb or 2 and then onto the next level!

After the first successful run, you get so many of each of these things that you don't need to do back but it's fun enough that you do go back. I used to hate Skull Cavern but now it's a treat on a High Luck day!

And you can make a game of it elsewhere as right now my Ginger Island Farm is 2/3 covered with Fruit Trees. 100% of them are from Skull Cavern. Yes I can buy as many as I want from Pierre. Yes I don't need them for anything. But it's fun to have a FrootForest made entirely from
Treasure.

Thank you for the professional instruction again.
I am really inspired by your comment.
Looking back my first jouney of Skull Carven. The whole process was haphazard without an exact target. The only goal was to finish the task published by Mr Qi.
Then obviously the disappointment was preordained.

The playthrough you mentioned is like playing Diablo III (I am not sure if you played that.) The difference is that you should conquer your own greediness to get to deeper level.
Not like Diablo, you have to go through endless grisly massacres to get more and more wealth and treasures :flushed:

Maybe the experience in the dungeon is not that delightful. But I believe there will be more unseen fun over 100th floor.
I will share my loot soon but I can only play games on weekends.

The trees you listed are somehow captivating.
