Switch [HELP] The X artifact spot

Earlier this year when the update was released I noticed a peculiar X artifact spot on the beach near the west side. I dug it up and got treasure, such as a golden coconut and even a artifact trove or two. Later on looking for a snake spine i noticed the same X spot and thought why not dig it up and try to find the snake spine there. Alas when I tried to dig it up it didn't work. No matter what I used to dig it with it wouldn't come out of the ground. Professor Snail is saying that its on the west side of the island, it has to be under an artifact spot. I've been digging at the normal squiggly ones on the ground with no luck whatsoever. In my opinion it just doesn't wanna work or maybe it's glitched, but all I know is its preventing me from finishing my snake in Professor Snail's research lab.

The X one only yields the golden walnut once.

Snake vertebrae can be found under the normal squiggly artifact spots, but they are rare. Your best bet is keeping the whole farm area free to allow for the maximum number of spots to spawn and then check every day.

If it doesn't feel cheaty, you can restart days where the artifact spot had something else in it. It will most likely still be there the next day, but yield a new item.
