Not buy the recipe. You can only buy the item itself, one of the reasons I rarely use it to decorate.

Also sold at the night market for a lot cheaper as far as I know, may be an incentive to use it a bit more

Yeah, Robin has it for 350 G, but I just saw it at the night market for 200.
