Android Help please! (Mobile)

Stardew Valley won't load when I open it telling me that it's "unfortunately Stopped", with my only actions being to report or ok. Then close me out after only showing the initial loading screen then black, and in my drop down it shows a icon of a triangle with a exclamation mark inside it saying that Stardew Valley is starting while still being up in the back ground still black. When this first happened I did do a report but nothing. As far as google play says it's fully updated and I should be able to play, but I'm wondering if my specific device just isn't supported anymore and google play just hasn't caught on or if something else. If it helps I'm on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8"Inch.

In case anyone needs or wants to know the specific version my game is at, rather than just that it's fully updated by Google play standards.

Like said in the post my Android is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 with a 8"Inch screen, to add to that I've had my tablet(tab) by this coming christmas for 4 years but it's been out for 3 more (making it 7 years total) and every app that is needed for things to function is updated to what the Google play store says is the latest update. Otherwise I don't fully understand what you're asking?

It says that I have Android Version 5.1.1
