PC [HELP] New Farmer on Split Screen Co-op Crash

Newcomer
Stardew Valley crashes every time I start local co-op and select new farmer (the only option for me). When it starts to load, it freezes and crashes. It does not matter if it is fullscreen or windowed or windowed borderless.
I am trying to start a new co-op world. Is there any way to resolve this on my side?
