PC [HELP] need help fixing my gf's save file :(

Hi guys whats up im in need of help trying to fix my gf's game save file so she got off last night like normal and tried to get on today to keep playing and her save file is not there anymore. We tried basic stuff such as relaunching the game as admin verifying the game files on steam etc with no luck. Im not to good with fixing issues like this so i really need some help i checked to see if her save file is still there and opened it with notepad to check if anything is still in there and it is but i dont know what to do from here. So any help is greatly appreciated
