Windows [HELP] Issue with DS4 right trigger

Hi there, I'm having issues with my controller--I usually use the right trigger to cycle through menus and my inventory but somehow it's just plain not working. I've tried rebooting the game, my PC, and unplugging the controller to try and fix it with no luck. I've checked my settings in Steam for the controller, and I even reinstalled SMAPI as well. All the other buttons seem to work just fine, too. I'm not sure what else I can do to fix this, and nothing I've seen online seems to help or has the same issue. Anyone know of a possible solution?

Still don't have an answer to this...any help would be appreciated? Even if it's just confirmation that it's not something that can be fixed.

I had this problem. The issue was the Steam controller profile being used instead of native, and I initially modified the steam control config to use tab on the right trigger. Then I had to contend with the game slipping back to keyboard controls for an instant. After, I switched to native control configs, fixing the control problem entirely, but now rumble doesn't work. So altogether I'm ready to use a different controller.

Oh that sucks, I'm so sorry :(

I did manage to figure out my problem--I was able to change my controller layout to one from the community and it solved my problem right away.

I too had the issue, but I fixed it by updating my Bluetooth drivers.
You should try the below possible fixes to resolve your issue.

* Use the latest version of DS4Windows

* Updated Bluetooth drivers if you are using Inbuilt drivers wirelessly

* Re-enable controller. This also fixes our issue sometimes.

* Use the help of DS4Windows Auto updater to upgrade to the latest version.

* Un Install & Re-install DS4Windows.

If you want by step-by-step guide to the above fixes, try this Google reference - https://ds4-windows.dev/ds4windows-not-detecting-controller-connection-fix/ Thank You.
