PC [HELP] I do not receive the basic weapons with a full inventory

Hello, I am from the Spanish community and I am using the translator, forgive the grammar mistakes. One of my friends is new to stardew valley, and when talking to Willy at the beginning of the game to receive her fishing pole, she had a full inventory, and the weapon did not appear. The same thing happened to her with the sword, and I don't know how to help her. Do the weapons appear anywhere? Is there a way to get them back? Its version is 1.5.4 on PC. Thanks in advance.

For the fishing rod, Willy sells different ones. I recommend getting the training rod for 25G.

For the sword, you can get better ones. After you kill 10 slimes, you get access to the guild where you can buy swords.

To kill the first 10, you can use the scythe.
