Switch [HELP] I cant put my bed down

Help!!!
I got in 40 hours of game play ! Picked up my bed and the game wouldn't allow me to put it down. So I started over . I'm back in about that amount of time and it did it again. I even bought another bed but it won't let me put that down either.

Hello @MHenny! Welcome to the forums! I hope you are enjoying Stardew.

Can I check that you are placing the bed in either the Farmhouse or a Cabin (not in a Shed or outside)? Is there anything else occupying the tiles that you are trying to place it on? Could you provide a screenshot (here's how)?

If all else fails, note that you can pass out (at 2:00am) in your farmhouse/cabin and not get a monetary penalty. You will still wake up with less energy, but otherwise it is the same as sleeping. On the plus side, your machines will have more time to process!
