Solved Help I can't load my save file :(

My save appears in the load menu but when I try to play it it just takes me back to the game title, I have no mods installed and my other 2 saves work just fine, I don't know what the issue is, can someone help?

that save is broken/missing a lot of info. it ends abruptly with <item whereas it should end in </SaveGame>
I'd check the savefile location for a save labeled _old and rename that to remove the _old, then test.
