I started playing on my iPad a month ago, and the issue has been happening the whole time. Unless I remember to close and restart the game every 30 minutes. It always seems to crash at around 1pm game time, and always makes me lose all the progress from that day. It is extremely frustrating to lose gameplay constantly. I have reported the issue to the app store and they sent me here. Help!
