PC [HELP] Game crashed after sleeping (multiplayer)

So me and my friend have been playing Stardew for about 2 days ever since the new update has been released and we've managed to get as far as the 24th day of Spring (First Year). We just ended the Flower Dance event and went back to sleep and save when my Stardew crashed unexpectedly (and i was hosting the save). When I reopened Stardew, the save was lost (along with our mood lmao). Is there a possible fix to this that we're not aware of? We don't want to start another game to have history then repeat itself. Help :(

I just experienced the same crash, though in Winter Y2. I was playing co-op and the other player went to bed fine, but when I tried to go to bed as the host, the game crashed and we lost all progress made that day. I also have an error log I will attach.

Both of these crashes seem like issues with the hardware/operating system as opposed to actual bugs in the code. One common aspect to both crash logs... it seems you're playing on Windows NT? I'm not sure how well that operating system supports Stardew Valley, there might be compatibility issues

Hello, I am also running on W10 and not using any mods. I was host for multiplayer and it also crashed when we went to bed in Spring Y1. It completely froze my computer so I had to hold down the power button to turn off my PC.
We tried my friend hosting, a different save file, and it crashed while I was in the mines and he was just walking around in Cindersap forest. This is for Spring Y2. We both checked and verified we're playing Ver 1.5.1
Update 8:08 PM
We tried yet another save file and things were going great for a while. After going to bed it would not save and my friend force exited so we could save. I had previously verified the local files and my friend had completely re-installed the game.

yeah that's kind of odd, i'm pretty sure I'm playing on Windows 10
Here's my windows specifications:
Edition Windows 10 Home Single Language
Version 20H2
Installed on ‎22/‎7/‎2020
OS build 19042.685
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

does it mean that there may be no possible fix? is there a way to avoid the bug at least?
