Solved [HELP] Danger In The Deep only giving 2 days to complete the quest

I went to accept Qi's challenge "Danger In The Deep" and while the text describing the quest said I had a week to do it, it showed the time available near the little clock symbol as 2 days. I accepted it anyway, thinking it would show the full week once I accepted the quest, but it still said only 2 days. When I slept that night, the next day was marked as the final day. Is this supposed to happen and is related to the way the challenges cycle, or is it a bug?

I'm running V1.5.1 on macOS Catalina, single player in English.

It is related to how they cycle. From the moment they appear available, the time to complete starts counting down so far as I can tell. I don't know if this is intended behavior, however.

That is intended. Board quests refresh on Mondays, so to get the full length of time for a quest, you need to pick it up on the Monday it appears.
