PC [Help] Crafting recipe Deluxe scarecrow missing

Hi!
I've been tring to reach perfection on my main safe file, but I'm missing the crafting recipe for the deluxe scarecrow, although I have placed all the rarecrows on my farm already. I obtained these rarecrows before the deluxe scarecrow was even introduced in 1.4 I think. Could this be the issue? I don't use mods so that should not be an issue.

You don't need to physically put the rarecrows on the farm to trigger the mail. Just having all 8 is enough. If you got them all before the deluxe scarecrow was introduced, try buying one rarecrow. Your easiest option is the one sold by the dwarf.

If you never got your rarecrows while playing 1.4, and you didn't get the recipe after updating to 1.4 (or newer)... it stands to reason that the game doesn't check regularly to see if you have all 8 rarecrows available, and since they aren't crafted, it can't check a crafting history. This means it could check when you acquire one to see if you've acquired the others, and if so, laotrayamada's suggestion to get a second instance of one that you have already will result in you getting the mail the next day. If that doesn't work, without editing your save file, you may have to get all 8 all over again.

I think you have to physically have all 8. One of mine disappeared because I let the weeds get it and now even though I have all the rest, it isn't sending me the letter. I have to buy the missing one (tribal mask #8) at the night market.
