PC [HELP] Connection Failed

me and my girlfriend have been playing a coop farm together for the last 5 months. we made it to spring year 3, and played til day 5. when we tried to play again, I was unable to connect as she hosts the farm. we have had connection issues in the past due to internet issues, but this time that isnt the problem. my internet is fine, hers is fine. if i host a farm, she is able to join and play with me, but when she hosts our coop farm, connection fails. ive been through the wiki about failed coop connection and theres been nothing that works. I tried every step in the wiki to fix the connection. i have restarted steam, stardew, uninstalled steam and stardew. still not working.

i am totally lost and dont know what else we can do

It happened to me too. I really feel this problem is the same although it's a bit different.

I play Stardew with my friend (my friend become the host). It always hard to connect to the host and usually ends up in "Connection Failed" (And a laggy pointer like in other post). It takes 1-2 hours switching another invitation method, restart Stardew, restart Steam, until randomly we did connected and i can play normally. It might be one of us have an internet issue but we called via the internet and even we try to spam chat in Steam Chat while connecting (that the chat come in no time, but connecting to her is really pain).

When we decided to start a new farm with me become the host, it wasn't work. We are not trying this too much because i don't want to start over the game.

It just really weird that we can't connected each other seamlessly. I believe this is something developer can do because we can be connected if we try for a long time.

I checked the file in "DIsconnectedLogs" folder. It's really long and saying "ClientTimeout" (and only 1 saying "Timeout_FarmhandSelection", which i never get to select Farmhand). Somehow with this long logs mean the timeout is really short (even not in 1 second or more). But i know i did wait for at least 3 second to select farmhand. I hope this log will help developer.
