PlayStation [Help] Co-op split screen is very buggy

Co-op crashes are often for me and my fellow players on our splits screen farm, and it's very frustrating to lose an entire day's effort because the game crashes right before saving
They are getting more and more common and I'm very concerned.

I'm not a developer so I don't know what's causing the problems, but I here are my guesses as to what causes some crashes;
-Buying and placing the phone on our farm crashes it without fail (we tried 3 times)
-Large amount of crops/items (at least 150) being held in the backpack, or sold in the bin, causes the game to run choppily, and then crash right before saying the profit.


Does anybody know how to fix these problems? or make it run smoother some how?

I'm running into the similar issues with online multiplayer. Logging out (closing game on mine) and rejoining the host briefly fixes the issue and lets the night proceed, but the issues don't take long to start back up the next in-game day
