i named my kid a name but there is a typo how do i fix it?

To my knowledge you cannot change the name of a child. There is a way to get rid of children in the game depending on how far into the game you are, so it's more a question of can you live with the typo, or will you get rid of the child?

If you have file access and can edit your savefile, you can change the name in the savefile.
