A rainy Friday seems like a good time to say hello. I started playing SDV back in January, had to stop because I was playing too compulsively and then got frustrated about missing out on gifts for birthdays, etc. I restarted a little over two months ago and, with the help of some daily notes (bring gold star daffodil to ***, visit Travelling Cart) and limiting my play time to roughly an hour a day, am having a great time.

I love this forum - get some great ideas for play, and also enjoy the remarkable creativity of the members.

Welcome, FarmerJoJo! I fully understand playing too compulsively as I did that my first time around and eventually had to chill a bit and do other things. An hour a day sounds like a good compromise!

If that happens, I usually just say to myself, "oh well, there is always next year!" or you can just restart the day.
