I recommend to grew things until the last day. Bring your farming skill up so you can harvest better crops. Your going to want gold quality melons for the luau. And it's nice to get the gold quality bundles out of the way on the first year.hey im jack and im pretty new to stardew valley, got it less than two days ago and i have about 21 hours in so far... never ever played a game like this before, having a ton of fun with it! looking forward to meeting new people on here.

noted, thanks!Welcome to the forums! I just got to 235 hours and it is still full of surprises and, somehow, still very fun. my advice is to invest in crops first than when you have enough money invest in a barn but make sure to pet your animals every day.

A quick tip: Never plant crops outside your greenhouse when the season is about to end, especially not the crops that take day more than the day you have left in your current season. Cause it will all die in the next season.
