Over the last 18 months life has taken a turn in a direction I never expected.
I went to see the doctor over something that I thought was minor to find out I had stage 4 throat cancer.
During diagnosis I needed a game that was immersive but also fun.
I bought Stardew Valley and it’s been with me all through treatment.
treatment ended a year ago and a few months later I found out the treatment had been totally effective and the cancer had gone.
Now while I get over the effects of the chemo and radiotherapy I enjoy stardew valley as both kids have taken a liking to the game and we have a quite healthy collection of stardew stuffies , chickens and Jumos mainly.
What started off as a distraction game has become so much more.
