Hello from a long-term Stardew lover who has never made it to year three

Hi everyone! My name is Mikro, I'm 21, and I believe I've been playing Stardew Valley since around its release. I'm such a huge lover of all farming games, including Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons (and Rune Factory and Kynseed and My Time At Portia...anything that has farming in it at all) so Stardew is like a dream-come-true kind of game. You read the title correct in me saying that I've never made it to year three. I'm really bad at finishing things I start, especially games, and with a game like Stardew it's so easy for me to start over constantly, but I recently started a farm on my switch and I'm really confident and hopefully that I can 100% it some day! I'm a sucker for mods and am constantly adding them into my PC game, and Sebastian is actually the loml. I'm interested in making my own game(s) someday but would love to start out with modding SV, so hopefully that goes well. And I'm learning how to draw so I'd love to post fanart here someday too.

I wish I could say yes! I’m unfortunately a beginner right now so I’m not that good yet. This is a picrew that I found and made. And thank you, I’ll be sure to do that once I start drawing!

I started with the first harvest moon on SNES. I loved Harvest Moon until they started with this minimalistic GC Version A wonderful life. I also tried Harvest Moon DS, but we had the buggy version in europe.
I liked Rune Factory 1 but 2 was stupid. I didn´t want to play the child. I gave Rune Factory tides of destiny a last chance but was disappointed, because you got very hardly backround from the characters. All dates were the same. Thats why I missed out on farm games very long until I stumbled over stardrew valley and I really like it. ^^

Hi!! I admittedly never played Rune Factory 1 or 2...I actually discovered the series with 4 and it's one of my favorite games to this day...if you haven't tried that one I genuinely highly recommend it. It's what got me back into these types of games. The newer Story of Seasons games for me haven't been that great (the characters just seem so bland and stoic) but I'm hoping that future games will get better. Glad you found Stardew!!
